The Authors

Frank McGurk

Frank McGurk has lived in the shadow of Dunmore House all his life and he has a particular interest in local history.

What began as a hobby, researching the background to the McClintock family, has become, over the decades, the ensuing, never ending mystery.

In tracing the Donegal footsteps of the McClintocks and their relations, Campbell, Dorothy and Agatha Christie, Frank joined forces with writer / historian, Ken McCormack, in an exhaustive search of archive material, across the British Isles and further afield, in an endeavour to bring closure to the mysterious and tragic events of 1938.
